How it works

Ten minutes before you open Curator Connect.

Pick games like yours

Two to five Steam games in your genre. Curators who covered several of them, recently, rank first.

Read the signs, build a list

Every curator comes with its followers, how real they look, how often it posts and any warning signs, each with its reason. Tick the ones you want.

Send keys and log them

Copy the names into Curator Connect. Log the keys here and I watch each curator's posts daily, so you see who posted without checking.

Warning signs

17% of curators with 200+ followers show several signs of reselling keys

Curator Connect lists curators by followers, and followers can be bought. I check every curator against thirteen patterns and show the reason for each. The chart is today's share of curators that trip each one.

Rings

Pages that post the same games on the same days

When 13 pages recommend 8 or more of the same games on the same days, I count them as one operator. Every curator profile draws its group, with the pages that have warning signs of their own ringed in red.

A real group from the data. Names left out here; they're on each curator's profile.

See when a curator actually posts

Real reviewers post a few times a week. Resellers post in floods of 20 a day. Every profile has a calendar of the last year, a follower history recorded daily, and what genres it covers.

Key log

Know which curators post after getting a key

Log the keys you send. My crawl checks each curator's posts every day and marks the key when it posts about your game, so the record verifies itself. Across developers, that becomes each curator's posting rate. You see the rates once you log a key of your own.

0 keys logged by 0 developers. The log started on launch day; a copy of this site starts with none.

  • Posted. The curator posted about your game. You get the day, the verdict and an alert if you have Pro.
  • Waiting. Under 30 days. At day 14 your dashboard suggests a follow-up if the curator lists a contact.
  • No post. 30 days passed. It counts against the curator's rate once enough developers log keys.

Who uses it

Solo developers

Before a launch or a Next Fest demo: find 20 to 40 curators who cover your genre and skip the ones that resell keys.

PR freelancers

Build a send list per client in minutes, export it to the outreach sheet, and show the client which curators posted.

Small publishers

Check every curator who emails asking for keys against the same rules, and keep one record across your games.

Questions

Where does the data come from?
Steam's public curator directory and each curator's public list of recommendations. I read the directory daily and the latest 100 posts of every curator with 200 or more followers, a few every five minutes. Nothing comes from Steamworks or from anyone's private account.
Are the warning signs accusations?
No. They're patterns I can measure, like a low share of high-value followers or 8 same-day posts shared with other pages. An honest curator can trip one. A careful reseller can avoid all of them. Every sign comes with its reason, so you can check it yourself.
How is this different from Curator Connect?
Curator Connect is where you send keys, and you should keep using it. Its list sorts by followers, which puts bought-follower pages first, and it can't search by "covered games like mine". Curator Match does that search and checks each curator before you send.
What does logging a key do?
You tell me you sent a key for your game to a curator on a given day. My daily crawl then watches that curator's posts and marks the key when it posts about your game. You never have to report back. Across developers this shows which curators actually post.
Why do I see a curator's posting rate only after I log a key?
The rates exist because developers log keys. Logging one of yours, to any curator, shows you everyone's. Pro shows them without logging.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. You pay once and keep it for as long as the site runs. If it doesn't help, ask within 14 days for a full refund.
Can I use it for several games?
Yes. Searches, send lists, logged keys and alerts work across all your games. One license is for one person.
I run a curator page. Can I fix what it says about me?
Claim your page by putting a short code in your Steam curator description. You can then list the genres you want, how to reach you and whether you're taking games. The numbers come from Steam and update daily; if a sign looks wrong, write to me.
