For Steam curators

If you run a Steam curator page

Curator Match lists 4,756 Steam curators for developers who want to send their games to the right ones. Your page is probably already here, built from what Steam shows in public. Claiming it is free and lets you say what you want to be sent.

What developers see about you

Your name, followers, the share of followers Steam rates "high value", how often you posted in the last 90 days, what genres you cover, and your recent posts. Next to that I show warning signs for key reselling: low-value followers, floods of posts in a day, and pages that post the same games on the same days as yours. Each sign comes with the reason, so a developer can check it. They are patterns, not accusations, and an honest curator can trip one. If a sign is wrong for you, write to me with the details and I will look at it.

What claiming gives you

  • A verified mark on your page and in search results, so a developer knows the page is yours.
  • The genres you want to be pitched, and whether you are taking new games right now.
  • How to reach you: through Curator Connect only, an email, or a Discord name or invite. If you choose Curator Connect, no address is shown.
  • A small ranking boost in searches while you are active and taking games. If you are not taking games, a small drop, so developers don't waste a key on you.
  • A badge for your site or Steam profile that shows you are verified and how many reviews you posted lately, and links to your page.

How to claim

  1. Find your page. Search the directory for your curator name. Curators with under 200 followers are listed but their posts are not read unless a developer logs a key to them.
  2. On your page here, the "Run this curator page?" box shows a short code that starts with cm-. Add it anywhere in your Steam curator description and save.
  3. Wait a minute for Steam to show the change, then press Check. I read your public curator page to see the code.
  4. Set your genres and contact, copy the badge code, and take the code out of your description. The code changes after each check, so an old one can't be used to take over your settings.

No account, no password, no email needed. The code in your own Steam description is the proof. The edit rights live in the browser you checked from; check again from another browser to edit from there.

What I do with the data

All of it comes from Steam's public curator pages, read once a day. I don't ask Steam for anything private and I don't contact your followers. Developers can log a key they sent you, and my daily check marks it when you post about their game; once three or more keys from two or more developers are decided, your page shows what share of them you posted about. That is a way for a curator who really plays games to stand out from one who doesn't. If you want your page removed, write to contact@curatormatch.com.

Who this is not for

Paying me or anyone to rank higher isn't possible; the ranking doesn't take money. Claiming doesn't hide a warning sign either. It adds context next to it.
